Love Lifts Us Up Where We Belong

I absolutely love being married to Nick. He is the best thing that has ever happened to me! It is amazing to me that have only been married for 4 years, it feels like we have known each for an eternity. I am so glad that we get to continue our wonderful companionship on into the enternities. There us no one better for to to do that with. He is such an amazing lover, friend, and father.

Boise, Here We Come!

I am so excited to go with Nick and Kingz MMA to Boise!
For those of you who don't know, he coaches a kid that has
been doing very well, 3-0. He won his last fight with a kick
to the head, and got a state record for fastest knock out.
Nick and I are making a trip out of it, and it is going to be
so much fun without the kids! I kinda feel bad sometimes
how excited I am to get away from them for a while, but
I feel like it is necesary for my sanity! I am so grateful to
both sides of my family for helping us with them.

Runing!!!

I am so excited about running(still). It makes me so happy that I've stuck with my goal so far. I am now up to running 1/2 mile intervals. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it was a lot of work to get to this point! Lost two pounds so far, also something that keeps me motivated. Wish me luck!

Cabbage Soup

Nick and I are trying the cabbage soup diet this week. Oh boy. All week long you eat this cabbage soup for every meal and snack. Then on certain days you can have fruit or veggies. We will see how it goes. We are on day two, and today is a little easier than it was yesterday, but I really, really miss my starches. I was supposed to make brownies for relief society tonight , HAH! I think not.
P.S. After a reall,y really long battle, Austin is now potty trained! Wahoo!

So, yes, I made the very traditional resolution to get in shape. But I am actually really excited to do it this time. I am going to become a runner! It makes me so excited that sometimes I get impatient when it is hard to just run for 5 minutes. But I am way excited for the chance running gives me to think, and do my body a ton of good. I am also excited to have that in common with my sister in laws Jaime and Celeste. I admire them both for bieng able to do that. I am just glad that I have finally made a goal that I am very determined to keep. It feels good. It is funny that being good about running is helping me do other things like read my scriptures. What a blessing.

Foe Hawks, waffles, and nerf gun wars!

Our little family had a wonderful Christmas. Please do not mind the first thing in the morning foe hawk disaster that my hair is in! Austin had a lot of fun with opening presents. He is a very persistent little boy, and he kept using his teeth to bite into the wrapping paper. Roman could care less about presents, (which is good because we didn't get him any) he just loved playing with Austin's freshly opened presents. Later in the morning we went to Grandma Landon's house for our annual Christmas Waffle Breakfast. It was tons of fun and there was plently of waffles, bacon, sausage, and biscuits to go around. On Thursday we went to My mom's house for our Christmas party. It was great to have everyone there and meet my first nephew on that side, baby Jackson. We had cafe rio burritos, then opened presents. My little sister got all the boys nerf guns, and as you can imagine, a huge nerf gun war insued. Nick bought us girls guns, and we played for about three hours. It was so much fun!

An Adam's Family Thanksgiving

How much fun is this? A busy kitchen full of hungry adults, and rooms full of excited cousins! And just check out all those pies! Didn't we all love the mincemeat? Huh? Just Kidding, that was the worst of all! (Thanks to me!)
